The Contact Management application is used for tracking sales leads, contacts and customers. It allows the user to view all notes from past actions, make new notes for follow up actions, view "to do" lists by date, track sales status, etcetera. Sales personnel have their own contact database but can view other lists for team collaboration on sales efforts. This enterprise application provides one location for all customer contact information via a company Intranet and can be used by all departments to note any customer interaction or request.
When used in conjunction with Incident Tracking, a company can create an instant online customer care center. Contact Management is an Intranet only application, incorporating local user access rights.
